WHY SHOULD YOU ADVERTISE?
‘Freedom of the press,’ said A. J. Liebling, ‘is guaranteed only to those who own one.’ But it is not necessary to own an entire newspaper. You can own one page at a time. It is not necessary to own an entire television network. You can own one minute at a time. The mechanism by which you do this is called advertising.
Advertising is the natural medium of dissent. It uses Big Media’s bigness to combat Big Media’s bullshit. The same mighty enterprise that carries the corporation’s nonsense to its huge audience carries with it your message of uncompromised truth.
That message should be a stinging rebuke to the pusillanimous journalism that surrounds it. It should get ripped from the newspaper and hung on a hundred office walls. It should get held aloft and read aloud in the United States Senate. It should get shown and quoted on the evening’s newscast. It should garner tens of thousands of dollars in support from kindred spirits. All of these things have happened to advertising created by Avenging Angels.

Avenging Angels make ads for progressive causes and progressive candidates. We search for the most lucid, provocative, passionate statement of your mission. Once we find it, we stick it in front of as many people’s noses as possible. It’s our goal that it be impossible to ignore.
You and I may survive George W. Bush’s mistakes. Our children won’t. This grim prospect is finally sinking in on the American people. When 69% of the public is telling pollsters that our country is on the wrong track, only a fool would be afraid to stand up and point out where the right track leads. But fools there are, among the leaders of the Democratic Party.
